Residential project
In 2024, we realized that providing basic necessities to vulnerable children, such as food, clean water, and medical care, and then sending them back to the streets was not enough. Therefore, we made the decision to create a long-term residential project to provide a secure environment for these children.
We rented a house that can accommodate 10-15 kids, equipped with an office, kitchen, bathroom, staff room, electricity, running water, a small playground, and a vegetable garden. The annual budget for the project is as follows:
- Rent: $4,206
- Water bill: $300
- Power bill: $148.80
- Garbage bill: $44
- Maintenance (To Be Determined)
- Total: $4,698.80
We currently do not have any sponsors and rely on generous individuals like you to donate and support this project. Your contributions are essential in providing these forgotten children with a secure and loving living environment.
Education project
Our top priority is education. We strive to empower individuals through education, help them secure a brighter future, share their stories with the world, and uplift themselves. Your donation can make a difference by providing school fees, bags, shoes, uniforms, or all of the above.
Food project
It is essential for our other projects to succeed that we have enough food. Our children require three meals daily to nourish their bodies and minds, ensuring they are healthy and able to strive for a better future. At Safe Haven Residential, we allocate $250 to $300 USD per month to provide fresh meat, vegetables, maize, rice, ugali, and beans for the children. Your donation can help ensure these underprivileged children have access to the nutritious meals they need to thrive. Thank you.
